From Blogging To Bossing – An Online Workshop

Hello! In today’s blog I’m going to be discussing my new workshop, From Blogging To Bossing! I’m very excited as it’s my first online workshop and what better way to talk about it than right here on my blog.

Why Did I Create The Workshop?

As you probably know, I’ve been blogging for around five years now. When I first started blogging, I wrote about books, travel and anything in between. I started off blogging for fun because I enjoyed writing and engaging with others. I loved seeing what you guys were up to and receiving recommendations from you.

Around a year or two in I realised I could monetize my blog and make money doing what I loved – writing! I was so excited; I started researching and reading how other bloggers were generating money from their blog, but it was always so vague. Whenever I asked someone how they made money from blogging, they would just say “ads.”

Ads are great for monetizing your blog if you have thousands of views a month, but for someone like me who just enjoyed writing and creating, I wasn’t interested in thousands of views, and I believe I made a total of 91p on Blogger before I switched over to WordPress. Views and followers are not the be all and end all. You can still make money from blogging and social media without going viral. I’ve made over £500 by creating digital products. You don’t have to have hundreds of views a day to make that money.

I created From Blogging To Bossing because I want to answer every bloggers question: how do I make money from my blog? 

What Is The Workshop About?

The workshop is going to focus on income streams and how you can create new ones that line up with your brand and skills. I’m going to be talking in depth about my income streams, how I make money online and how much I make.

I will also be talking about a number of different ways you can monetize your blog and create services and products that line up with your ethics and skills.

There is also going to be a Q&A at the end of the workshop to ask anything about income streams, about my business and more.
